Ledger

Terms of use

Last updated October 20, 2026

These terms cover your use of Ledger, the bill and budget dashboard provided to you by Badger Tech. By signing in you agree to them.

Who can use Ledger

Access is by invitation only. Your sign-in is for you and the people in your household your manager has agreed to. Keep your password private and tell your manager right away if you think someone else has used your account.

What Ledger is for

Ledger shows the bills and budget your manager maintains for you, lets you message them, and lets you send them notices you receive in the mail. It is a record-keeping and communication tool. It does not move money, and nothing in it is financial, legal or tax advice.

Accuracy

Your manager enters and updates the information you see. If something looks wrong, say so in Messages. Reminder emails are a convenience and may not reach you if an email address is out of date or a message is filtered, so they are not a guarantee that a bill will be paid on time.

Uploads

Only upload documents that relate to your household's bills and accounts. Photos and PDFs up to 20 MB are accepted.

Fees and cancellation

Ledger itself carries no separate charge. Your relationship with your manager, including any fees and how to end the engagement, is governed by the agreement you have with them. If that engagement ends, your access to Ledger ends with it and your data is handled as described in the Privacy page.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, your manager will let you know through Ledger or by email.
